Welcome back! I’m thrilled to share a fun and easy card-making project with you today. We’ll be using the fabulous Friends For Life stamp set and coordinating dies to create a beautiful ‘Thinking of You’ card. Whether you’re a seasoned stamper or just starting out, this project is perfect for sending a little love and warmth to someone special.
First, you’ll need a few supplies: the Friends For Life stamp set and coordinating dies, thick Basic White cardstock, Berry Burst cardstock, Full of Life designer series paper, white diagonal ribbon, the Faceted Gem Trio Pack, dimensionals, liquid adhesive, and a Berry Burst ink pad.
To start, create your card base using thick Basic White cardstock. This will be the sturdy foundation for our card. Fold it in half to create your card base. Thick cardstock ensures your card stands tall and proud!
Next, take your Berry Burst cardstock and cut it to fit slightly smaller than the front of your card base. Now, using the ‘Thinking of You’ stamp from the Friends For Life stamp set, repeatedly stamp the sentiment across the Berry Burst layer with the Berry Burst ink pad. This creates a lovely, textured background that’s full of heartfelt thoughts.
Wrap a piece of sweet white diagonal ribbon around the Berry Burst layer. This adds a charming touch to our card, like a pretty bow on a gift! Using your adhesive, adhere the Berry Burst layer to the card base. This is where our card starts coming to life!
Next, take the Full of Life designer series paper and use the coordinating heart dies from the Friends For Life set to cut out some delightful hearts. These patterns are like a little party on paper! For a bit of extra pizzazz, cut out matching hearts from Basic White cardstock and use liquid adhesive to attach them as overlays to the patterned hearts. This adds dimension and a crisp, clean look.
Using dimensionals, adhere the hearts onto the Berry Burst layer. The dimensionals will give your card that fabulous pop-up effect, adding depth and interest. Finally, add a gem from the Faceted Gem Trio Pack to give your card a touch of sparkle. It’s the perfect finishing touch to make your card shine!
Your beautiful ‘Thinking of You’ card is complete! This project is sure to brighten someone’s day and let them know you’re thinking of them.
