Today, I had so much fun CASE-ing a fabulous card design that works perfectly for a variety of occasions. The card features a clean and classic base of Basic White cardstock. To make assembling the inside easier (and to avoid losing pieces—because let’s be honest, it happens!), I started by adhering a Basic White panel onto a coordinating Old Olive layer inside the card.

For the card front, I positioned a Basic Black panel slightly off-center toward the right on the landscape card base. Layered on top is a piece of Old Olive honeycomb-patterned paper from the Cute As Can Bee DSP, adding a subtle yet stylish background. To bring in texture, I ran a piece of Old Olive cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it at a slight angle for extra dimension.

A bold circle element, cut from Basic Black using the Stylish Shapes Dies (next-to-largest circle), sits atop the embossed piece, creating a striking focal point. The sentiment from the With You In Mind stamp set, “Thinking of You,” is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on a Basic White strip and popped up on dimensionals for that perfect finishing touch. A few Gold Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems add just the right amount of shimmer without overpowering the design. This card has such a great balance of color and texture—definitely one that could be sent to a fella!

Because I couldn’t stop at just one, I created a second version of the card featuring the adorable bees and flowers from the same Cute As Can Bee DSP collection. This version has an Old Olive card base with a fun pop of Pool Party as an accent layer and a Daffodil Delight circle instead of Basic Black. To switch things up, I stamped the sentiment in Petunia Pop ink, giving it a fresh and cheerful look.

Both cards were an absolute joy to put together, and I love how easily they can be adapted for different recipients just by changing up the colors and patterns. If you’d like to see these cards come together, I’ve created a short video to walk you through the process.
I’d love to hear which version you prefer! Are you drawn to the sleek black-and-gold combo or the playful bee-themed version? Let me know in the comments, and happy stamping!
